Our default ruleset works with the most popular PHP scripts available including Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, and Magento.

We <3 cPanel

Our main focus is to be fully compatible with cPanel and WHM making it a simple and easy process to install, configure, and manage Cachewall on any cPanel server.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

If you're interested in trying Cachewall please enter your email address on the form above. Once submitted we will email you access to the Cachewall license and support portal. Visit repo.cachewall.com for installation instructions.

What are the requirements?

We support cPanel under CentOS / CloudLinux 6-7 and with Apache 2.2-2.4. We are always interested in hearing about custom server configurations, so please get in touch if you have any questions or a unique environment.

How much will it cost?

While pricing has not been decided yet, we will offer a free version for personal use and a commercial version for web hosts. As of May 2016 Cachewall is free for all users. Ample notification will be provided with any change.

Is this a replacement to my current web server?

Cachewall is meant to be used as an additional tool in your current web stack. We are trying to make Cachewall as compatible as possible with cPanel, Apache, Litespeed, Nginx, and other popular and modern software packages.

How is Cachewall managed?

Management and configuration of the software is performed primarily through our WHM plugin. An end-user cPanel plugin is under development for more granular control over Varnish Cache for websites. The xvctl utility is also available on the command line.

How does Cachewall help with security?

We gather data across all instances of Cachewall to track bots, hackers, spammers, and other malicious users. Using the aggregated data we create a blocklist that is distributed to all Cachewall instances and updated in real time.

Still have questions?

We're looking for web hosts with specific environments to help test and provide feedback, if you're interested please get in touch.
